Location
The Overflow Center is conveniently located in the city of East Lansing, not far from US127 and the border of Lansing. This property was formerly known as Capital City Vineyard Church. It's now been rebranded and repurposed as a multi-use venue suitable for many other community events, while still hosting church gatherings. Tucked between Apartments and rental homes, you'll find us on the west side of Coolidge Rd., between Lake Lansing Rd. to the north, and Saginaw Hwy. to the south. Our facility is just under 10,000 Sq. feet on 1.63 acres of land.

The Overflow Center is a single-story building with a partially finished basement. The building was constructed in four stages over time. The original sanctuary and parsonage were built in the 1970's. They were later joined together by a "Fellowship Room". Finally, in 2013 a classroom wing was added and most of the existing building was renovated.

Rentable Spaces

Whatever special occasion you've got in mind for 120 people or less,
we've got just the place for you at a reasonable rate.
The Sanctuary is 50'x40' with seating capacity for 120+.
The Cafe/Fellowship Room is typically set up with six cafe style tables and four chairs at each, but additional folding tables and chairs are available.
There is a kitchen and coffee service area connected to the cafe.
There are five different classrooms of various sizes.
There are four office spaces available for lease, all located in the former parsonage.
There is a large basement area, suitable for storage.

Ample parking space available for your group
We have 43 total parking spaces, with 3 spaces designated for handicapped parking, which is sufficient for most of the smaller sized gatherings we can accommodate. There is also additional street parking available within walking distance across Coolidge Rd., on both Farwood Dr. and Fairoaks Ct.

All rates are FSG. Full-Service Gross Leases (FSG) include all utilities, maintenance, taxes, etc.
Beyond usable square footage there will be a small additional charge for Common Area Maintenance (parking lot, hallways, bathrooms, etc.).
Our standard Rental Rates may be slightly negotiable for Christian ministries with compatible visions and values.
All Rentals will be required to fill out a Rental Agreement and pay a refundable $100 damage deposit.

This space has always been dedicated to serving the Greater Lansing community. As we expand into hosting more community events, we aim to honor the history and heritage of this building while we make it available more widely to others!
